For the safety and health of our employees and guests, Boone’s Fish House and Oyster Room is committed to following best practices and guidelines set forth by the CDC, the Maine CDC, and the WHO. We have implemented the following:
Restaurant staff may ask if you have or have recently had a fever or cough.
Customers are to wear cloth face coverings/masks anytime they are not seated at their table.

Boone’s will be closely monitoring advice from Governor Janet Mills, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Educating our employees on preventative measures given by the CDC.
Increasing the frequency of our cleaning practices, with additional wipe downs of all surfaces including bar area, dining rooms, menus, high touch point items and areas of the restaurant. In addition, we have upgraded to the use of hospital grade disinfectant in our bathrooms and on floors.
We are practicing social distancing with guest seating procedure The current best practice is tables 6 feet apart.
Providing additional resources to guests and employees including hand sanitizers, extra soap and paper towels in the restrooms.
Implementing increased sanitation and hand-washing procedures for all employees.
Discouraging personal contact within our restaurants, including shaking hands.
Re-training of employees on all food safety practices and enhanced state guidelines on COVID-19
Closely monitoring employees for signs of any type of illness and requiring any employee who is ill to stay home
